Dan’s background is in both operations and investing. He started his career in consulting in Deloitte’s strategy and operations practice. He’s since held operational roles at venture-backed SaaS startup Sailthru and transitioned into the investing world as a Senior Associate at Five Elms Capital, a $1B+ software focused growth equity fund. He comes to Performit with board, M&A diligence and execution, go-to-market strategy/execution, and growth-stage operations experience. Dan has served as a Board Director at Vajro and Sendlane and a Board Observer at Tagger Media, Karbon HQ, and OpenReel. Dan has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Kansas

CJ has a background in both public and private investing. He was a Senior Associate at Cobalt Ventures and director at Sansara prior to Performit. Prior to Cobalt, he was an Associate at Gates Capital Management, an event-driven hedge fund based in New York. At Gates Capital, CJ focused on special situations investing, such as restructurings, recapitalizations, and spin-offs across industries including healthcare, consumer products, chemicals, industrials, automotive, software, and professional services. Before Gates Capital, CJ started his career as an Analyst in the Asset Management division of JP Morgan. CJ is a graduate of Kansas State University with degrees in Finance, Accounting, and Economics.
